Terms & Conditions
In order to ensure safety and comfort during a cuddle session, the following terms must be agreed, as stated below:
Prior to your first session, you will be invited to have a free and informal face-to-face video consultation to establish personal objectives and expectations, to ensure the session is suitable for your individual needs.
The minimum age requirement for sessions is 18 years old. A copy of an official photo ID (passport or driving licence) will be required as proof of age.
Alcohol and drugs of any kind are not permitted. If a client is found to be either under the influence or in possession of any inappropriate substance, the session will be terminated.
Cuddle therapy sessions should not be misinterpreted as sexual in any form. All touch exchanged is for therapeutic purposes only. Kissing is not permitted at any time.
Both parties will practice consent and respect personal boundaries at all times.
Please arrive to your cuddle session in loose and comfortable clothing. Both parties will remain fully clothed throughout the session. All touch given and received by both parties will remain platonic, professional and outside clothing at all times. This will be within the guidelines discussed. Under no circumstances is touch under clothing permitted.
Maintaining good personal hygiene is essential, please shower and brush your teeth before the session. Clothes worn for the session should be freshly laundered, and perfume/aftershave, scented body lotions kept to a minimum.
Cuddle positions can be changed as often as you wish. Mutual consent should be sought before moving forward with other poses or techniques during the session, to ensure both parties remain comfortable throughout.
It is your personal responsibility to immediately inform the practitioner if you feel uncomfortable. Also, if you feel unwell, have any questions, concerns or require assistance at any point. Constant communication is essential and should be maintained at all times.
Cuddle therapy is not suitable for everyone, and this includes those persons who are affected by extreme psychological conditions or concerns.
Cuddle therapy is not a substitute for professional medical treatment and care, or for diagnosing physical or emotional illnesses or health concerns. To ensure safe practice, the client is required to provide a full disclosure of any illness or conditions that may affect the session or practitioner prior to the session commencing. If in doubt, it is suggested to consult the advice of a medically trained professional, such as your GP.
Client data is stored in compliance with GDPR and ICO requirements.
No specific information regarding the client will ever be shared with another party unless the client gives written permission to use personal information. This includes information shared during a meeting, cuddle session, over email, phone conversation, etc.
Photography or filming of any kind is not permitted at any point within the session without prior consent from the client or practitioner. Any pictures or video recordings, and their intended purpose, must be discussed and agreed upon in writing before a session begins. They may not be used for purposes outside of the written agreement.
The practitioner reserves the right to refuse a session with a client that is deemed unsuitable. Inappropriate behaviour by a client, or the refusal to agree to, or comply with the terms stated above, will result in the immediate termination of the session without a refund.
The client is also entitled to stop the session at any point if they feel uncomfortable. This is to ensure mutual respect, safety and trust are upheld throughout the session by both parties.
The practitioner will not at any point be held responsible for any injuries or loss of property that may result from a session. By agreeing to these terms prior to booking a session you release the practitioner from any liability for any such incidents.
Deposit & Payment:
To confirm and secure your session a 50% deposit is required in order to book a therapy room. The remaining balance must then be paid in full prior to the session, via bank transfer.
Cancellation Policy:
Appointments are booked on a basis of trust. I fully understand that circumstances can change, but I would request that once your appointment has been confirmed that you do make every effort to attend, as the timeslot has been reserved for you, therefore making it unavailable for anyone else.
Please note to respect my time and commitment to your appointment, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy in place. If for any reason you need to cancel the session, please do so more than 24 hours prior to the session to avoid charges. Appointments cancelled after this timeframe are non-refundable.
If you wish to amend or cancel a session, an email must be received informing the practitioner of this decision at least 24 hours in advance. Whilst unavoidable delays can sometimes occur, it is requested that you endeavour to be punctual for your appointment to ensure you receive the full time requested. In the case of latecomers, the session will still end at the pre-agreed time, with the session fee due in full.
Availability:
I practice flexible hours to suit busy lives. I am available most days however, I am unable to accommodate same day booking requests.
In addition to the above, Cuddle Therapy Consent Form and Client Agreement will be provided during the consultation. These must be signed and returned prior to your session.
